About Nathan
Growing up in Indianapolis, Indiana as the eldest of three brothers, I learned the importance of
responsibility and leadership at a young age. Sports played a significant role in my early life; I
began playing as soon as I could walk and spent much of my youth on baseball diamonds,
basketball courts, and football fields. Those experiences taught me discipline, teamwork and
resilience—qualities that have served me well in my academic and professional pursuits. My
passion for sports led me to Kentucky Wesleyan College, where I played football while earning
my bachelor’s degree in business administration. Balancing athletics and academics helped me
develop strong time management skills and a competitive drive that has carried over into my
work life.
Motivated to deepen my knowledge of finance, I completed a second bachelor’s degree in accounting at Liberty University in December 2021. Shortly thereafter, in January 2022, I accepted a position as VicePresident of Finance at CommunityWorks, a Denverbased nonprofit that helps individuals who are unemployed or underemployed prepare for and find jobs while addressing the obstacles that often stand in the way of employment. In this role, I oversee the finances of a multimilliondollar organization, managing budgets, monitoring cash flow and ensuring regulatory compliance. These responsibilities have sharpened my analytical skills and reinforced my affinity for financial management. Throughout my career, I have consistently been drawn to roles that involve organizing and interpreting financial data, and I take pride in using those skills to support organizations that make a positive impact.

About Danielle
Originally from Florida, I grew up with a love for the outdoors and competitive
sports—experiences that shaped my values. Discipline, perseverance, and teamwork became
second nature, and those lessons laid the foundation for the direction my life would take.
That foundation carried me into the U.S. Army, where I proudly served multiple overseas tours. Military service not only tested my endurance and resilience, but also sharpened my ability to lead under pressure, adapt to unpredictable challenges, and stay mission-focused no matter the circumstances. These experiences instilled in me a deep respect for structure, accountability, and service before self—principles that continue to guide every aspect of my professional journey.
After transitioning out of the military, I entered the civilian workforce with a commitment to serve in new ways through working with the military and Special Operations communities as well as in my local community. Since 2019, I have worked as a project coordinator on multi- million-dollar government construction projects. In this role, I helped to manage the coordination, and execution of initiatives that demand precision and collaboration across multiple stakeholders. Whether it’s streamlining processes, resolving challenges, or aligning diverse teams toward a common goal, I thrive on creating clarity out of complexity and ensuring projects are delivered with excellence.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business and Sports Management from Grand Canyon University.
My professional background is also shaped by experiences in customer relations, support services, and project planning across a range of industries. But beyond titles and credentials, what drives me is simple: helping others succeed. I believe true leadership is about empowering people, removing barriers, and setting a standard of accountability that inspires teams to bring their best every day
